Tom Harbison

Tom Harbison is a Ph.D. student in the History program at the CUNY Graduate Center. At the New Media Lab, Tom is currently researching material for the ASHP Young America Project, focusing on the section of the project that will document the lives of young people during the Progressive Era.
Outside of the Lab, Tom is presently studying the political and cultural history of New York City in the 1920s. He is enrolled in the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate Program at the Graduate Center, through which he is exploring an interest in instructional technology. He is in the early stages of conceptualizing an online teaching tool that will enable history students to engage with primary documents in innovative ways.
