Seals swim south for the winter to the warmer waters of the New York City region.

Go on a field trip to see them in their natural habitat.

A habitat that is under pressure from natural and human causes that causes them to become ill,

so that they have to be rescued, healed and released back into the wild.

In this course, you will use computer mapping and remote sensing (e.g. satellite) technologies

to gather observations and interpret findings to help ensure that our aquatic friends will thrive

into the future.
